300TDI Timing Kit Conversion - Convert Your Early Type to the Later Type

300TDI TIMING KIT CONVERSION - CONVERT YOUR 'EARLY TYPE' TO THE 'LATER TYPE'.

If you have a later kit already fitted then this is a direct replacement.
Be sure to follow the fitting instructions carefully as the original Land Rover setup included a separate spacer washer which must be removed before fitting this kit as it is now incorporated in the idler pulley.

This kit has the modified tensioner, Idler and crank gear as fitted to the later engines to avoid the edge of the belt wearing out prematurely.

Kit consists of:-

Dayco Timing Belt ERR1092
Tensioner LHP100860
Idler LHV100150
Crank Gear LHH100660 (machined sides) + O ring
Gasket ERR7293
Fixing kit
Instructions
Water Gasket ( P Gasket )
Oil seals for Crankshaft Outer ERR4576 , Crankshaft Inner ERR4575 and Camshaft oil seal ERR3356

Must be fitted by a competent mechanic to avoid failure.
